SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak seasons, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carrying in
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying indoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method Delivery to Service Point, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method Pick Up Yourself, these are collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Be sure to measure doorframes, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, the customer, are charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you as a customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place at thelast accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.seat the time of your order and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels remaining.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from placing the order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details:To make you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. - In case of return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
- Return shipping for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you as a customer do not pick up your item at a service point within the specified time frame from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you as a customer have chosen the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself", the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
