SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Home decor items such as blankets, cushion covers, bed linen, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are instead shipped within 9-11 weeks.
Delivery and Carry-in Service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose between curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on your location and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carry-in servicedoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also opt for assembly with your delivery. This is available at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Delivery to Post Office" shipping method, these will be sent via PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorframes, stairs, and other spaces that may limit access during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
- Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to thelast accessible point by car. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example, to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
- If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging, and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of home decor items.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for home decor items:To ensure you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of handling more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function. - The return shipping cost for home decor items is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid for the order and delivery of your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you, as a customer, do not collect your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller home decor items that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you do not pick up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
