Care

For all MELIMELI furniture, dry cleaning is recommended. Our linen mix is a living material that changes and becomes more and more beautiful over time.

To extend the life and preserve the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is crucial. We have compiled some simple tips to ensure your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on edge or pat them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then fluffing or patting them.

TURN THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute the pressure evenly, turn the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING POSITION

Another useful trick is to swap the positions of your back and seat cushions occasionally, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and prolongs the life of the cushions.

SWEDEN

Delivery time

• Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bed linen, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
• In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
• Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying in

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated spot. Prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans which are assembled on site by delivery personnel.
• If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
• If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself", these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
• Be careful to measure doorways, stairwells, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
• Please note that you as the customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place at the last accessible point by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.

Assembly

• All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
• Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

• If your item was an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging, and all labels must remain.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, upholstery, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To be able to use your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/original packaging.
