Delivery and carrying in

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying into the designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying indoes notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs and footstools which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Collect Yourself" shipping method, these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Be careful to measure doorways, stairs and other spaces that may restrict access during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you as the customer are charged for failed delivery.
  • Please note that you as the customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to thelast accessible location by road. If you wish to have delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, upholstery or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or specially manufactured. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.

    If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.

For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Collect Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:

    For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we process your order. If you do not pick up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
