SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Interior design items such as blankets, cushion covers, bed linen, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
- Furniture in stock is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Custom-made furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak season, summer, and Christmas, custom orders are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carrying in
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying indoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method Delivery to Service Point, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method Self-Pickup, these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Be sure to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns where you, as the customer, are charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to thelast accessible point by car. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires the jetty to beaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, upholstery, or other items that are custom-ordered at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return for a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/wrapping.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was instead a custom-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior design items.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior design items:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or wrapping being damaged or missing.
Refund
- Refunds are made when the return has been received and approved.
- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded and you, as the customer, are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In case of return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
- Return shipping for interior design items is 150 SEK. For furniture, return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you, as the customer, do not pick up your item from the service point within the specified time frame from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you, as the customer, have chosen the shipping option "Self-Pickup", the following applies:
For smaller interior design items that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that time frame, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as the customer, for any reason, are not home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
