Delivery time

  • Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During peak season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks.

Delivery and carry-in service

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carry-in service does notinclude unboxing, assembly or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs and footstools that are assembled on site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method Delivery to Service Point, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method Pick Up Yourself, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Please be sure to measure door frames, stairways and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
  • Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor a boat there.

Assembly

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days for our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.

    If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with 30% down payment not being refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
  • Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return is valid until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
  • If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.

    For smaller interior details that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection within 14 days of us processing your order. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
