Delivery time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, custom orders are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carrying in
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside shipping or shipping with carrying in to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Be sure to measure door frames, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place at the last accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order and we will investigate the possibilities and return with a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, covers, or other items that are custom-ordered at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return period of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To be able to exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a custom order, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment not being refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of handling it more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function. - Return shipping for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item at the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you do not pick up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
