SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Home decor items such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During high season, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are instead shipped within 9-11 weeks.
Delivery and carrying service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying service to the specified location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying service does notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This incurs an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans, which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or a jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or specially manufactured. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, where the 30% down payment is non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of home decor items.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for home decor items:To make you feel secure with your Christmas purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. - Return shipping for home decor items is 150 SEK. For furniture, return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or items
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item at the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be sent back to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller home decor items that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from when we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
