Care

Vacuum the headboard regularly with a soft upholstery nozzle to remove dust and dirt. For stains, dab gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth – avoid rubbing, as this can affect the fabric's texture and color.

The fabric on the Bella Headboard is not removable. If a more thorough cleaning is required, we recommend professional on-site upholstery cleaning/dry cleaning. Always follow the cleaning agent's instructions and test on a less visible area first.

Shipping & Returns

Available for delivery throughout the EU, Norway and the UK. For deliveries to Norway, all import customs clearance costs are included in the stated prices.

Delivery time

• Furniture made to order is normally produced within 6-8 weeks. During peak season, summer and Christmas, production time may be slightly longer due to high demand and holiday periods at our factory.

Delivery and indoor delivery

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose delivery to the curb, and in major urban areas (Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö), delivery with indoor delivery to a designated location is also available. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that indoor delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packaging.
• If you have ordered products from our accessories range in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a headboard, these will be sent as a separate parcel to your nearest parcel shop.
• Please be sure to measure doorways, stairs and other spaces that may restrict access during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
• Please note that you as the customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Delivery to the archipelago

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery is normally made to the last available location accessible by road. If you would like delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry landing or pier on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.se when placing your order, and we will investigate the options and get back to you with a price quote. Please note that delivery to a private pier requires that the pier is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can add a boat.

Assembly

• All our headboards are generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 pallet).

Right of withdrawal and returns

• If your item is a stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received. The item must be unused, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers or other items that are made-to-order items at the time of order, the right of withdrawal is 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or specially made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the date the order was placed, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we at MELIMELI offer an extended return period of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/wrapping.
  
• If your product was a stock item at the time of order, the full price of the product will be refunded upon approval of the return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
• If your product was instead a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with 30% non-refundable deposit. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

• Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of it being handled more than is necessary to establish its characteristics or functionality. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as if the product is not in new condition or if the original packaging or wrapping is damaged or missing.

Refund

• The refund is issued once the return has been received and approved.
• When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded and you as the customer will bear the cost of return shipping.
• When returning, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
• For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
