SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior design items such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak seasons, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and Carry-in Service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose between curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carry-in service does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also opt for assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our detail assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detail assortment with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself," these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorframes, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space will be handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your goods at the agreed-upon delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery is normally to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or a dock on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.seat the time of order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price quote. Please note that delivery to a private dock requires that the dock is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the choice of fabric, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Return
- If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is custom-ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return for a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/wrapping.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was instead made-to-order, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior design items.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for interior design items:To ensure you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of handling it more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or if the original packaging or wrapping is damaged or missing.
Refunds

- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In case of a return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the goods during return shipping.
- The return shipping cost for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
Unclaimed Packages or Goods
- If you as a customer do not pick up your goods from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, they will be sent back to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you as a customer have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior design items that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as the customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your goods at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
