- Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks.During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carry-in service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carry-in servicedoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our interior details range with the shipping method "Delivery to Post Office Agent", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest post office agent. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our interior details range with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself", these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space will be handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
- Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place at thelast accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and returns
- If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, covers, or other items that were made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised more than 14 days after the order was placed, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/wrapping.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with 30% of the down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- If you as a customer do not collect your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be sent back to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs of shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you as a customer have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from when we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If, for any reason, you as the customer are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
