SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks. During peak seasons, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are instead shipped within 9-11 weeks.
Delivery and Carry-in Service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carry-in service does notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our detail assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Post Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest post agent. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detail assortment with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself," these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be careful to measure door frames, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish to have delivery further out into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or island pier, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private pier requires that the pier is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Return
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging being damaged or missing.
Refunds

- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In case of a return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during the return shipping.
- The return shipping cost for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed Packages or Goods
- If you, as the customer, do not collect your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you, as the customer, chose the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself," the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from when we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be put back into stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as the customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
