SWEDEN

Delivery time

• Home decor items such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
• In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
• Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak seasons, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying in

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose between curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
• If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Post Office Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest post office agent. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
• If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself," these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
• Be sure to measure door frames, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
• Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by car. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can sometimes be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.

Assembly

• All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
• Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and returns

• If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
  
  If your product was an in-stock item at the time of ordering, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
  If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with a 30% non-refundable down payment. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
  
  
• The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of home decor items.
• Extended return policy during Christmas for home decor items:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

• Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. • In case of a return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during the return shipment.
• Return shipping for home decor items is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.

Unclaimed packages or items

• If you as a customer do not pick up your item at the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be sent back to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
• If you as a customer have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
  
  For smaller home decor items that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you do not pick up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
  
  
• If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
