SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
- Furniture in stock is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak seasons, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carrying service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying service does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an extra charge and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method "Self-Pickup," these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorframes, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by car. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags still attached.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended return policy does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for interior details:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the return policy applies until January 7th. This is valid for unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Return shipping for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be sent back to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative fee applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Self-Pickup" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
