Delivery and in-home placement

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with in-home placement to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that in-home placement does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan (Old Town).

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last location accessible by car. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.

Assembly

  • All furniture is generally delivered pre-assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return for a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.

    If your product was in stock at the time of ordering, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:

    For smaller interior details that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not collected your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
