Delivery time

  • Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying service

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying service to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying service does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the shipping method "Self-Pickup," these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan (Old Town).
  • Be careful to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.
  • Please note that you as a customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last accessible point by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires the jetty to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.

Assembly

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.

    If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with a 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
  • Extended right of return for interior details during Christmas: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

  • If you as a customer do not pick up your item at a service point within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you as a customer have chosen the shipping option "Self-Pickup", the following applies:

    For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
