"If I weren't working in interior design, I'd be working with flowers"
In 2015, Amelia started a company with the aim of realizing her dreams in interior design. Four years later, Amelia is still in her workshop, which she calls her office on Artillerigatan, continuing to sketch out her dream. The idea behind Meli Meli was born from a passion for the home reflecting a place where one is free and can be oneself, and she draws inspiration from all the other things she holds dear in life. Perhaps that is why each piece of furniture is named after her favorite flowers – something Amelia could have dedicated her life to instead if it hadn't been for interior design. Instead, she combines her interests and creates playful interior design that we've seen, but never seen before.
"In the future, I dream of stepping into a Maison Meli Meli"
Amelia wants to create interior design that reinforces the vision of a restful place for recreation. A timeless, international home that is comfortable to live in without compromising on design. In the future, she dreams of designing a hotel and, eventually, opening a Meli Meli Maison.

• What is your favorite product?
The Luca sofa! It's the first piece of furniture I designed, and it's still my favorite. We have the Luca Grande in off-white at home, which fits the whole family.
• Where will Meli Meli be in 5 years?
– In 5 years, Meli Meli will have expanded its product range so that you can furnish an entire home with only products and furniture from Meli Meli.
• If you weren't working in interior design, what would you be doing?
– I would definitely be working with flowers.
