Your style feels so well thought out and personal – how do you find inspiration when decorating your home?
How sweet of you, thank you kindly! A lot of Instagram... Pinterest. It feels like a boring answer, but that little save button on Instagram gets a lot of use. And then actually old movies too. Like "The Children of Noisy Village"... when they're in that old kitchen kneading dough. Ah, it looks so lovely. Also Madicken, or other old Astrid Lindgren movies. They can inspire me too.
What made you fall for our striped Luca sofa in coral – and how do you feel it has changed the atmosphere in your home?
I fell for it immediately. Pink is a favorite color; we even live in a pink house, hehe. I think our living room, or actually the entire downstairs, gained personality. It really made its mark on everything, and suddenly it felt a little more alive. It's so beautiful in itself, so not much else is needed.

If you could only give one tip to someone who wants to create a cozy and personal feeling at home, what would it be?
To put your own stamp on it, and mix in old treasures found at flea markets or inherited. Don't just follow 'trends' all the time, but create your own style that feels nice and like home.
Your thoughts and dreams for the future?
I dream of a long, wonderful life in the pink house with a happy and healthy family. Maybe we'll have a summer house one day. A simple one by the sea with a pine roof and floral duvet covers that smell of fabric softener mixed with a linen closet.
How do you make your photos and feed feel so genuine and natural – do you have any tricks for capturing the feeling you want to convey?
Thank you so much! It's probably because it is genuine and natural. Mostly anyway. Hehe. I'm not very good at 'planning content' and creating just for the sake of it. If I'm drinking coffee in a freshly made bed, I'll snap a picture. I'm terrible at staging things. It results in less content but more genuine, I think.

You're so good at interacting with your followers – what's the most fun part of that dialogue?
I love talking to my followers. We're so similar, you know. It's like one big group chat with friends, haha. I'm terrible at replying to comments though. But I answer all messages and love talking in DMs.
What does a typical day look like for you – what's the best part of combining work, creativity, and family?
On a typical day, I wake up when my 1.5-year-old Göte wakes me up around 7 AM. Then we have a cozy time together where we eat breakfast (for a loooong time, and messily), get dressed and ready for the day. I drop him off at daycare at 9 AM, and then Svea and I go down to the store Schack Matt. I stay there until the evening. Around 6 PM, I come home to the family again, who have prepared dinner. Then two hours of playing and cuddling with Göte await, before he goes to sleep. When he goes to bed, we have a cozy evening on the sofa, preferably with some chips in a bowl and a series on TV. Then I fall asleep early.

What do you like to do to relax at home when you have some free time?
My favorite way to relax is to take a bath. But it's not that easy without a bathtub, hehe. So sometimes I run over to my sister's and have a Pepsi Max in the bath. Otherwise, cuddling on the couch with Göte.
If I'm invited for dinner at your place, what would you serve?
Then it would most likely be some cheeses and olives, and then pasta. Maybe red wine with it. Afterwards, popcorn with dip (incredible), some salty licorice pieces, and a cold glass of Pepsi.
What do you prefer to dance to?
Bolaget

What do you miss most when you're abroad?
Our Golden Svea. And Swedish coffee.

I AM…
Tired of the darkness and longing for spring and warmth.
I FEEL MY BEST WHEN…
I've tidied up and organized, written a to-do list, and then actually managed to accomplish everything. I love being productive and checking things off. I always write a list for the week on Sundays. And it's very detailed!
I GET IRRITATED WHEN…
When promotions don't automatically apply in the grocery store and you have to go back with the receipt in hand. Yes, I do. Right is right.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ALL TYPES OF RELATIONSHIPS IS…
To be kind and respectful of each other.
RIGHT NOW I'M LISTENING TO…
Melissa Horn's latest album on repeat.
A MEMORY I WANT TO SHARE IS…
When we picked up our fluffy little Svea. A Golden Retriever who will soon be 4. She loves the Luca sofa almost as much as I do, and prefers to lie there all day if she gets to choose. And DESPITE having a 1.5-year-old mischievous boy and a dog who likes to dig in the garden, we haven't gotten a single stain on the sofa. Good quality!!!
IF SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME 10 YEARS AGO THAT WE WOULD LIVE IN THIS PINK HOUSE ONE DAY I WOULD NEVER HAVE BELIEVED IT…
I have always loved this house. Our old principal at high school lived in this house for years, so it felt grand. I often cycled past and peered through the windows whose sills were filled with geraniums. The sun shining on the pink facade, everything felt wow even then.
MY FAVORITE PLACE IS…
At Persson's Brygga. Where we usually swim at my parents' place. Grew up on that pier and am there as soon as the sun is out.
ON A BORING DAY I DO…
If I'm restless and at home without plans, I always try to find a small project... Clearing out, organizing. I love the feeling of 'something getting done'.
THE BEST THING I KNOW…
Is the time we have ahead of us. In a few weeks, I'm going to Thailand with my family. Three weeks of sandy beaches, coconut shakes, and salty swims. Then I'll come home to March and wood anemones. Grilling season begins and the weather whispers of first bike rides. Just the knowledge that you have a whole summer ahead of you... Ahh.
I HATE…
Injustice in the world, rats, airplane food, being cold, blood sausage, cilantro, going up with the laundry and sorting it, taking the car for tire service.
