FRANCES 3-SEATER SOFA OFF WHITE
Angelica, who are you?
I am heart first, always. Creatively driven to the core, with the camera as an extension of my gaze or perhaps mostly of my soul. I am a mother, in love, free but rooted. A bit messy, emotional & often in the middle of something. I am building something of my own, a life, a home, an expression. And my drive? It probably stems from the desire to preserve what otherwise disappears too quickly. I am both security & restlessness. I am driven by making the world a little warmer, a little truer.
How would you describe your visual style – in three words?
Timeless, sensitive, honest.

When do you feel most inspired?
When I let go. When I'm not trying to capture something, but suddenly feel that something captures me. It can be a light hitting a face in a certain way, a conversation in the kitchen that's a bit uncomfortable but still carries something beautiful. When the children are in their own world and I get to sneak a peek. I'm inspired by what isn't staged, that space in between where life feels real. Travel. New places.
Is there anything you never tire of photographing?
People I love. And the first light of an early morning, when everything is still quiet.

Describe a perfect day for you.
A perfect day starts gently. We stay in bed a little too long. No rush, just skin against skin and their little whispers about dreams they've had, and the world can wait a moment. We eat breakfast without hurry, the doors are open, and everything feels a little lighter than usual. We do something simple, maybe plant something in the garden, swim, laugh at nothing. I take photos, collecting images of moments that only happen once. No pressure, no demands. Just us, barefoot. The evening smells of barbecue and sun-warmed hair. The children fall asleep in our laps, maybe we do too. And I think: "I hope I remember this, exactly like this."
If we were to peek into your image folders – what kind of moods would we find there right now?
Moments that remind me that life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful. You'd see a lot of interior design, travel, dust in backlighting, moments I almost missed but am so glad I managed to capture. Everything is a little out of focus but still crystal clear. Travel, outfits, lots of clothes, samples & dreams. Beautiful places.
What does "home" mean to you?
Home for me is not just a place, it's a feeling that resides in the body. It's where I can breathe out, where no one needs to be anyone other than who they are. It's the sound of small feet, the smell of laundry dried in the wind, tired evenings in the kitchen with food that never quite gets ready. It's clutter, laughter, silence, all at once. Home is also everything we create together. The plants that defy all odds, the children's artworks climbing the walls, and the security that resides in the midst of chaos.

What does it look like where you prefer to drink your morning coffee?
I'm not a coffee drinker haha, but I love basking in the sun somewhere. My favorite spot is our lush backyard. There's no place on earth that calms me like it.
Have you found anything recently that's worth mentioning?
A vintage bag I've been looking for for years, found in a corner of Tradera as if it had been waiting for me.

Tell us about a memory that is close to your heart.
God, I barely remember what I did yesterday haha, but my childbirths are a strong memory. I'll never forget them. The most powerful moments of my life.
What do you dream about?
I dream of healthy bodies & a long life.
What do you want others to feel when they see your pictures?
Inspiration.

You've just decorated your new office – how would you describe the feeling there?
Inspiring. The interior design is well-thought-out with art & design in focus. The color palette is soft, the materials natural, and every detail is carefully selected. It's a calm place to settle in.
