SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Interior design items such as blankets, cushion covers, bed linen, and ceramics are normally dispatched within 2-7 working days.
- Furniture in stock is normally dispatched within 3-14 working days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally dispatched within 6-8 weeks.During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are instead dispatched within 9-11 weeks.
Delivery and carrying service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying service to the specified location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying service does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also opt for assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Delivery to Postnord parcel agent" shipping method, these will be sent by PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detailed products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our detailed range with the "Collect Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please make sure to measure door frames, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space will be treated as regular returns, and you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your goods at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last accessible location by car. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and returns
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product's price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior design details.
- Extended right of return for interior details during Christmas:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to ascertain its properties or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or wrapping being damaged or missing.
Refunds

- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been dispatched, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you, as the customer, are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In case of a return, you, as the customer, are responsible for the condition of the goods during transit back to us.
- The return shipping cost for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Uncollected packages or goods
- If you, as a customer, do not collect your item from the agent within the specified time frame from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an uncollected package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Collect Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be collected at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we process your order. If you do not collect your item within that time frame, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If, for any reason, you as a customer are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
