SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks.During peak seasons, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and In-home Placement
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with in-home placement to the designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that in-home placement does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the delivery method "Delivery to Postal Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the delivery method "Pick Up Yourself," these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be careful to measure doorways, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or island pier, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price quote. Please note that delivery to a private pier requires the pier to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor their boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags still attached.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or specially manufactured. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was instead a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with a 30% non-refundable deposit. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for interior details:To ensure you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. - The return shipping for interior details is SEK 150. For furniture, the return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
Unclaimed Packages or Items
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as the customer, chose the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself," the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we process your order. If you do not pick up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as the customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
