SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior design items such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks. During peak seasons, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and Carry-in
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carry-in to the designated place. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carry-in does notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans, which are assembled by delivery personnel on-site.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, the customer, are charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, the customer, will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place at the last accessible location via car road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or a dock on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private dock requires that the dock is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the receipt of your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, upholstery, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or specially manufactured. For the exercise of the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was instead a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, where the 30% down payment is non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior design items.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior design items: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or wrapping being damaged or missing.

- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you, as the customer, are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In the event of a return, you, as the customer, are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
- Return shipping for interior design items is SEK 150. For furniture, return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed Packages or Items
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item from the agent within the specified time frame from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, chose the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself," the following applies:
For smaller interior design items that can be picked up in our Stockholm store, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that time frame, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
