Luca Original 2-Seat Sofa Eggshell

Care instructions

Dry cleaning is recommended for all MELIMELI furniture. Our linen blend is a living material that changes and becomes more and more beautiful over time.

To extend the life and maintain the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is crucial. We have collected some simple tips to ensure your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on their edge or pat them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then fluffing or patting them.

FLIP THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute pressure evenly, flip the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING SPOT

Another useful trick is to occasionally swap the position of your back and seat cushions, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and tear and extends the life of the cushions.

SWEDEN

Delivery time

• Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
• In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
• Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying in

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose between curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
• If you have ordered products from our retail range with the shipping method "Delivery to Post Office Agent", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest post office agent. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
• If you have ordered products from our retail range with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself", these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
• Be sure to measure doorframes, staircases, and other spaces that may restrict accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.
• Please note that you as the customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last accessible point by road. If you wish for delivery further into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.seat the time of ordering, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires the jetty to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.

Assembly

• All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
• Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and returns

• If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are custom-ordered at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging/wrapping.

If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a custom-ordered item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with a 30% non-refundable down payment. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

• To return an item, please contact us: info@melimelihome.se.
• Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of being handled more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or wrapping being damaged or missing.

Refunds

• Refunds are made when the return has been received and approved.
• When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
