Delivery time

  • Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks.

Delivery and In-home delivery

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with in-home placement to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that in-home delivery does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans, which are assembled on site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our decor range with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to decor products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our decor range with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself", these are collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Please be sure to measure doorways, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
  • Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by car. If you wish to have delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can sometimes be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from placing the order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days for our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To be able to exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.

    If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of home decor items.
  • Extended right of return during Christmas for home decor items: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you as a customer have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:

    For smaller home decor items that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that time frame, the item will be put back in stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.

We offer separate covers for Luca in all our fabrics and colors. MATERIAL COMPOSITION Linen mix made from 28% cotton, 21% linen and 51% viscose. The seat cushions consist of a cold foam core wrapped with a mixture of cut polyether mixed with silicone ball fibre. This combination provides excellent comfort without the cushion collapsing.
