Delivery Time

  • Furniture in stock is normally shipped within 3-14 working days.
  • Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During peak season, summer, and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks.

Delivery and carrying in

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unboxing, assembly or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs and footstools which are assembled by delivery staff on site.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail range with the shipping method Delivery to Post Office, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest Post Office. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our retail range with the shipping method Pick Up Yourself, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Be sure to measure door frames, staircases and other areas that may restrict access during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as normal returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
  • Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago Deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.

Assembly

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To be able to use your right of return, the product must be in a saleable condition in unopened packaging.

    If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product's price will be refunded, with a 30% down payment non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
  • Extended return policy during Christmas for interior details: To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed during November and December, the return policy applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

  • If you, as a customer, do not collect your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
  • If you, as a customer, have chosen the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself," the following applies:

    For smaller interior details that can be collected from our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you have not collected your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
