SWEDEN
Delivery time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 working days.
- Furniture in stock is normally shipped within 3-14 working days.
- Custom-made furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During high season, summer and Christmas, custom-made items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and carrying in
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to an assigned location. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying indoes notinclude unpacking, assembly or disposal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional charge and applies to our sofas, armchairs and footstools, which are assembled by delivery staff on site.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Delivery to Post Office" shipping method, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest post office. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be careful to measure doorways, stairs and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as normal returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you as the customer will be charged for the return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to thelast accessible location by car. If you wish to have delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of withdrawal and return
- If your item is an in-stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers or other items that are custom-ordered at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the date the order was placed, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.
If your product was an in-stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a custom-ordered item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, where the 30% down payment is non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended right of return during Christmas for interior details:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of it being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or packaging being damaged or missing.
Refund
- A refund will be made when the return has been received and approved.
- When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- In the event of a return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
- The return shipping for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you as a customer do not pick up your item at the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs of shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself", the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pick-up for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
NORWAY
