SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior design items such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
- In-stock furniture is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks.During high season, summer and Christmas, custom orders are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and In-home Placement
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with in-home placement to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that in-home placementdoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Delivery to Postal Agent" shipping method, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these are collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
- Please be sure to measure doorways, stairs, and other spaces that may limit access during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place at thelast accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Please contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can moor with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the choice of fabric, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Return
- If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are custom-ordered at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To be able to use your right of return, the product must be in a sellable condition in an unopened package/packaging.
If your product was in stock at the time of ordering, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a custom order, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of interior design items.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for interior design details:To make you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For all orders placed during November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of handling it more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function. - The return shipping for interior design items is SEK 150. For furniture, the return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and delivering your furniture.
Unclaimed packages or goods
- If you, as a customer, do not pick up your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you, as a customer, have chosen the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior design items that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping cost.
