Care

For all MELIMELI furniture, dry cleaning is recommended. Our linen blend is a living material that changes and becomes more beautiful over time.

To extend the lifespan and preserve the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is essential. We have compiled some simple tips to ensure that your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on their edge or tap them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then fluffing or tapping them.

TURN THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute pressure evenly, turn the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING POSITION

Another useful trick is to occasionally swap the positions of your back and seat cushions, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and prolongs the cushions' lifespan.

SWEDEN

Delivery time

• Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding, and ceramics are usually shipped within 2-7 business days.
• In-stock furniture is usually shipped within 3-14 business days.
• Made-to-order furniture is usually shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer, and Christmas, custom orders are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying in

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated spot. Prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Note that carrying in does notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled by delivery personnel on site.
• If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the delivery method "Delivery to Service Point," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
• If you have ordered products from our retail assortment with the delivery method "Self-Pickup," these can be picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
• Be sure to measure doorways, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
• Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish to have delivery further into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can sometimes be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.

Assembly

• All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
• Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

• If your item was in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is custom-ordered or custom-made. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.

If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a custom order instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

• The extended return policy does not apply to products from our range of interior details.

• To return an item, please contact us: info@melimelihome.se.
• Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of handling it more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging being damaged or missing.

Refund

• A refund will be issued once the return has been received and approved.
• When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full sum for the product will be refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the shipping cost will not be refunded, and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
• In the event of a return, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return shipping.
• Return shipping for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, return shipping is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
