Delivery and In-home Placement

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with in-home placement to a designated spot. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that in-home placement does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our decor range with the shipping method "Delivery to Service Point," these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to decor products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our decor range with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself," these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Be sure to measure door frames, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns where you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
  • Please note that as a customer, you will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago Deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.seat the time of your order so we can investigate the possibilities and provide a price quote. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

  • If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags still attached.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in a saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.

    If your product was in stock at the time of ordering, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with the 30% down payment being non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

  • The extended right of return does not apply to products from our range of home decor items.
  • Extended return policy during Christmas for home decor items:To ensure you feel confident with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the right of return. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you as a customer have chosen the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself," the following applies:

    For smaller home decor items that can be collected at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not collected your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
