Delivery and carrying in

  • Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated spot. Prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying indoes notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
  • In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and ottomans that are assembled on site by delivery personnel.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Delivery to Postal Agent", these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest postal agent. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
  • If you have ordered products from our detailed assortment with the shipping method "Pick Up Yourself", these can be collected at our store in Gamla Stan.
  • Be sure to measure doorframes, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns, where you as the customer will be charged for failed delivery.

Archipelago deliveries

  • For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to thelast accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to aferry terminal or island dock, this may in some cases be arranged at anadditional cost. Contact our customer service atinfo@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private dock requires that the dock isaccessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can moor with a boat.

Assembly

  • All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas where each module is delivered separately.
  • Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

  • If your item is a stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days from the date your order was received.The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging, and all labels remaining.
  • For sofas, armchairs, headboards, ottomans, upholstery, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is custom-ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the order placement, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
  • In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended right of return for a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.

    If your product was a stock item at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
    If your product was a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, where the 30% down payment is non-refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.

For this, we charge an administrative fee of SEK 150, in addition to the costs for shipping and return shipping. This administrative cost applies to smaller items sent with PostNord or DHL, regardless of order value.
  • If you as a customer have chosen the shipping option "Pick Up Yourself", the following applies:

    For smaller interior details that can be picked up at our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for pickup for 14 days from the date we processed your order. If you have not picked up your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an administrative fee of SEK 50. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
