SWEDEN
Delivery Time
- Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bedding and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 working days.
- Furniture in stock is normally shipped within 3-14 working days.
- Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.
Delivery and Carry-in Service
- Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carry-in service to the designated location. The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carry-in service does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
- In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an extra charge and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Delivery to Post Office Agent" shipping method, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest Post Office Agent. This also applies to retail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
- If you have ordered products from our retail range with the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping method, these can be collected from our store in Gamla Stan (Old Town).
- Please make sure to measure doorframes, staircases, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space will be handled as regular returns, and you, as the customer, will be charged for failed delivery.
- Please note that you, as the customer, will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping costs if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
Archipelago Deliveries
- For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires the jetty to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.
Assembly
- All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
- Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
- If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all tags intact.
- For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
- In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in an unopened package/packaging.
If your product was in stock at the time of order, the full product price will be refunded upon approved return. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
If your product was a made-to-order item instead, 70% of the product price will be refunded, with 30% down payment not being refundable. No shipping or return costs will be refunded.
- The extended return policy does not apply to products from our range of interior details.
- Extended return policy during Christmas for interior details: To make you feel secure with your Christmas gift purchases, we have extended the return policy. For all orders placed in November and December, the right of return applies until January 7th. This applies to unopened packaging and upon presentation of a receipt or order number.

- Please note that a deduction may be made if the product's value has decreased as a result of being handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in new condition or the original packaging or packaging being damaged or missing.

- The return shipping cost for interior details is 150 SEK. For furniture, the return shipping cost is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
Unclaimed Packages or Goods
- If you, as a customer, do not collect your item from the agent within the specified timeframe from PostNord or DHL, it will be returned to us as an unclaimed package. For this, we charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, in addition to the shipping and return shipping costs. This administrative cost applies to smaller items shipped with PostNord or DHL, regardless of the order value.
- If you, as a customer, chose the "Pick Up Yourself" shipping option, the following applies:
For smaller interior details that can be picked up in our store in Stockholm, your item will be ready for collection for 14 days from the time we processed your order. If you have not collected your item within that timeframe, the item will be returned to stock and you will be charged an administrative fee of 50 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded to your chosen payment method.
- If you, as a customer, for any reason, are not at home or cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged for the return shipping to our warehouse and any new shipping costs.
