Care

For all MELIMELI furniture, dry cleaning is recommended. Our linen mix is a living material that changes and becomes more and more beautiful over time.

To extend the lifespan and preserve the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is essential. We have gathered some simple tips to ensure that your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on their edge or pat them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then fluffing or patting them.

TURN THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute pressure evenly, turn the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING POSITION

Another useful trick is to swap the positions of your back and seat cushions from time to time, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and tear and extends the life of the cushions.

Prices for this depend on where you live in the country and are shown at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unboxing, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This incurs an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools that are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place at the last accessible location by road. If you wish for delivery further into the archipelago, for example, to a ferry terminal or island dock, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order, and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private dock requires the dock to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can moor with a boat.
