Luca Armchair Elephant

Care Instructions

Dry cleaning is recommended for all MELIMELI furniture. Our linen blend is a living material that changes and becomes more beautiful over time.

To extend the lifespan and maintain the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is essential. We have compiled some simple tips to ensure that your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on their edge or pat them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then patting or hitting them.

TURN THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute the pressure evenly, turn the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING SPOT

Another useful trick is to swap the positions of your back and seat cushions from time to time, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and tear and extends the life of the cushions.

SWEDEN

Delivery time

• Interior details such as blankets, cushion covers, bed linen, and ceramics are normally shipped within 2-7 business days.
• Furniture in stock is normally shipped within 3-14 business days.
• Made-to-order furniture is normally shipped within 6-8 weeks. During high season, summer and Christmas, made-to-order items are shipped within 9-11 weeks instead.

Delivery and carrying in

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose kerbside delivery or delivery with carrying in to a designated place. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is done at an extra cost and applies to our sofas, armchairs, and footstools, which are assembled on-site by delivery personnel.
• If you have ordered products from our detail range with the shipping method Delivery to Service Point, these will be sent with PostNord or DHL to your nearest service point. This also applies to detail products ordered in conjunction with a larger piece of furniture, such as a sofa or armchair.
• If you have ordered products from our detail range with the shipping method Pick Up Yourself, these are picked up at our store in Gamla Stan.
• Be sure to measure door frames, stairs, and other spaces that may limit accessibility during delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as regular returns, where you as a customer will be charged for failed delivery.
• Please note that you as a customer will be charged for return shipping and any new shipping cost if you are not at home or for any other reason cannot receive your item at the agreed delivery time.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last accessible location by road. If you wish to have delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged at an additional cost. Contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sein connection with your order so that we can investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires that the jetty is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock with a boat.

Assembly

• All furniture is generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 package). This does not apply to our modular sofas, where each module is delivered separately.
• Depending on the fabric choice, our Luca 3-seater sofas are delivered with one or both armrests disassembled.

Right of withdrawal and return

• If your item is in stock at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels intact.

This is because the item is specially ordered or custom-made. For exercising the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the placed order, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, MELIMELI offers an extended return period of a total of 100 days on our furniture, under the same conditions as for the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in saleable condition in unopened packaging.
